PETER SEDDON Ceramics

Introduction

Peter Seddon retired to the south east coast of Northumberland following a long career in art education in East Cheshire.

Inspiration for earlier work derived from the landscape of the Peak District and the foothills of the Pennines (where he lived for so long), the mountains of Snowdonia and northwest Scotland, and the White Mountains on Crete. He also drew inspiration from the prehistoric cup and ring markings found in abundance in Northumberland.

He creates handbuilt sculptural ceramics and hanging wall reliefs and panels. If you are interested to find out more about how he works, visiting these pages will give you some indication.
