Newbiggin Art Trail
I am a founder member of KEAP Creative, a group of Newbiggin artists whose aim is to develop the arts in and around Newbiggin. When "Couple" by Sean Henry was installed in the bay in 2007 the group felt that more was needed than one sculpture (even though it received a lot of publicity as the first offshore sculpture in the UK), to help increase and keep the footfall in the village. To this end they created The Newbiggin Art Trail which now comprises over sixty pieces of public and community art. A selection of those pieces contributed by me is shown here.
